Characteristics

Nice ferrata of medium difficulty. The entire ferrata is quite long in tha massive wall. Technically it is not difficult, but you will enjoy nice exposed passages.

Arrival

Go to Reichenau an der Rax where you turn left and drive through the town Prein an der Rax. At the end turn right, according to the Klettergebiet Preinerwand / Griesleitenhof sign. It goes straight to the road where you can park.

Approach

The forest path will take you to Preinerwald and after a few hundred meters turn left into the forest. After the end of the forest, you will go to the gravel field and HAIDSTEIG begins on the right.

Exit

You can choose several ways from the cross. We recommend descending to neue Seehute, from which you can comfortably descend on the marked path back to the car.
